After the wonderful, patient, and long-suffering Mrs. Lobo read my blog "Politikin in Ol' Kentuck---Survey Says", she looked at me with mischievous look in her eye that she is famous for and asked me: "If you think you so dang smart, why dont you write a poll question?"
Ok, so having downed a glass of my favorite concoction of PassionFlower and Wild Lettuce herbs, here it goes. My survey question for the 2007 state of Kentucky gubernatorial race:
"If the election were held tomorrow, would you vote for a governor that promised reform if elected then went on to create a costly scandal, abused his powers by pardoning those who were indicted then cut a deal to avoid prosecution, all the while pushing threw legislation who's long-term, positive effects on the state are questionable, or a wealthy, former Representative from liberal Louisville who is now out of the limelight and is running only because she's bored and misses the action, who's only campaign strategy is to attack the above mentioned governor while dodging questions on the issues(because she has no answers) or business man from Paducah who actually has answers and solutions to the problems facing our state today and who's only real drawback is lack of name recognition?"
As with all polls I must state that this one is a totally unscientific, non-propagandist, non-leftist , non-media poll, which means the results may actually be close to the truth!
