Just sitting here in the cave taking a breather from what was a wild and crazy week....
It all started out with John Kerry's revelation on Monday that our military troops are "uneducated" and "stuck" in Iraq rather than being at home and marrying wealthy women. We've had alot of fun with ol' John and his snooty elitist uber-Democrat friends. And of course we were told by the same uber-Democrat MSM (that means main stream media for our uneducated men and women in the military, stuck in Iraq) that it was simply a joke that didnt work. He obviously was "referring to Bush". Ok if thats the case why were future Democratic presidential hopefulls like Iron Thighs Hillary Clinton trying so hard to distance themselves from Kerry. Cuz ah , they knew what he really meant too....maybe.
Then Friday we get the news item from the New York Times. The Times, in an obvious Bush bashing attempt, tells the story of a web site run by the government which lists seized detailed Iraqi documents which , besides having Saadams grocery list, also contains documents detailing Iraqi nuclear power research. The big news: Iraq was only a year away in 2002 from having a nuclear bomb. You can read the whole article at this link: www.nytimes.com The article goes into great lengths talking about how shocked European diplomats and members of the International Atomic Energy agency that these documents were even allowed to be seen. Another shocked individual was, A. Bryan Siebert, a former director of classification at the federal Department of Energy, who said: For the U.S. to toss a match into this flammable area is very irresponsible
Read the entire report because there is an idea in there many people will miss. Especially those liberals who keep mantraing "Bush lied and they died". On a side note isnt it funny that they always say 'and they died" and not "our troops died", or "our folks in uniform" died? What it said was that there is evidence that Saadam not only had chemical and biological WMDs but "Mr. Hussein’s scientists were on the verge of building an atom bomb, as little as a year away". Guess maybe GW wasnt too far off then.
In reading this article I get the feeling that the NY TImes seemed shocked too. Maybe not so much in the content of the disclosed documents but in the fact the White House had the audacity to leak something on the Internet. Gasp!! Shock!! And in horror!! Nobody but the main stream media is EVER allowed to leak anything to the American people. How dare Bush usurp their authority!!!. This is an outrage, blasphemy I tell you!!
Im sure that both these items wont have alot of effect on the election. The msm pretty well declared Kerry's gaffe a dead issue after Kerry gave what can be laughingly called "an apology". And I'd be willing to bet my cave that the NY Times article will get no msm air time. Cant have the truth come out just before the elections now can we? Only the lies can come out, never the truth.
Well gotta keep this one alittle short. Daylite comes early here in the cave and us old dogs need our beauty sleep. Gotta get up early and starting makin those phone calls to get out the vote!!!!!
